Good news! Since Sam wasn’t able to do the show last week, we got her to come back THIS week!!!
The holidays are upon us. The time that parents love and, simultaneously, try to get through as fast as they can. Parenting can be tough and since this time of the year we often see the best and the worst of it, we decided that there was no better time to talk with the creator of the popular Motherland of Sam blog – Sam Deane Mavis. Just like her her blog, Sam holds nothing back in her brutally honest new book Motherland of Sam: We Are All Born A**holes.
She takes a unique approach to telling her story as an unconventional mother of three, all of which are under 5 years of age, as a parent trying to find her way and submitting to the beautiful chaos that is her life. We will be talking with Sam about her blog, her book and her advice for co-host Wes on how to survive the holidays – raising six kids while living in the back of a 1975 Buick LaSabre convertible. *
* We are not entirely sure of the number of kids Wes has nor his housing situation. We honestly don’t even think he drives a Buick and are pretty sure he couldn’t afford a sweet, sweet convertible. We could have called him and asked… but, you know… that takes time.
