The title this week is a little misleading. Yes, we are bringing you the amazing talent of Jesse Madera. THAT part is true. What we left out, however, is that she isn’t going to be alone.
Jesse will also be joined by former WSOTW guest Nell Teare. Nell, you may remember, joined us back in August of last year to talk about a musical she was directing. Well, Nell is back again and this time she’s bringing someone with her.
Jesse Madera and Nell Teare met as classmates at a middle school in Houston, Texas. Now, twenty years later, both women have found their way to Los Angeles – Jesse pursuing her singing/songwriting and Nell an acting career. Recently, however, Nell turned her talents behind the camera as a writer and director. With Jesse set to release “The River,” the first track from her album Belle and the Claytons, it was only fitting that Teare direct the accompanying music video.
We are going to be giving you a first look of her new video for “The River” (something you can’t see anywhere else, not even on her website belleandtheclaytons.com which doesn’t launch until 2/13) and talking with both women about their talents, their friendship and what it takes to make the move to Los Angeles to pursue your passions.
We might even get to hear some live music!
