01/20/14 – “The Guys Who Went to Kurdistan to Make a Movie Episode!”

It takes an incredible amount of grit, sacrifice and will to make an independent film, even if the entire thing is set in your living room. You take it to a whole other level when you decide to shoot half of your movie in a place like Kurdistan. “Mikael” is an independent film written, directed and starring Kordo Doski. Much like the title character in his movie, Kordo had to move mountains to make his dream a reality. We will be talking with Mr. Doski and his co-producer Jose Moreno Brooks about the challenges they experienced undertaking such a monumental endeavor.   “Mikael” is about to start its festival run.
